Pockeridge Lakes
Chippenham Angling Club controls the fishing rights on two small lakes (approx. 35 swims in total) at Pockeridge near Corsham. The species to be caught include double figure Carp, Tench, Perch to 4lb, and healthy stocks of Roach and Rudd.
Directions to Pockeridge : Take the A4 from chippenham towards Bath, turn left at the Hare and Hounds (Public House) toward Pickwick. Take first right into "Valley Road". Half a mile, turn right into Pockeridge Drive (immediately before crossing railway bridge). The Lakes are approx. 400m on the right.
Please Note : Pockeridge lakes have restrictions on access, use of certain tackle, methods and baits see rules.
In addition to Pockeridge Lakes, Chippenham Angling Club also controls the fishing rights to excellent stretches of the Bristol River Avon through Chippenham and it's surrounding villages. |
