Every year during the Annual River Close Season, the match secretary organises a Club Outing. The outing, usually during the month of May, is generally run as a match and all club members are welcome to take part whether they enter the pools or not.

The event is normally well attended and places must be booked (with a deposit) in advance through Premier Angling. A poster with full details is shown on the club notice board to the left just inside the shop front door when details become available.
