27 anglers turned out for this one. This was the first match at the bottom end of the river so we did not know what to expect. The river was still very clear and no flow on it at all. The match did fish very hard, take the perch out the match and the weights would have been very low.
1st went to P Townsend with 8lb 15oz. Pete has drawn just below the town bridge and fish the feeder on worm. Starting off with a Small bream he thought his luck was in but that was the only one he had. Pete then swapped the pole on worm to take a few small perch. 2nd went to S Palmer with 6lb 3oz. Steve has caught perch on maggot at 10m on the pole. 3rd was N Lofy with 4lb 15oz. Nick fished the worm on the pole close in again to take small perch.
