Welcome to the Chippenham Angling Club web site.

The site will give you information on all sections of the club and include
current news on matches and special events.

Chippenham Angling Club was Established in 1894 and has grown to be one of
the largest clubs in North Wiltshire. Members are able to fish some of the best
stretches of the Bristol Avon including some excellent Barbel fishing. The club also
controls two lakes suitable for all types of Angler, offering some excellent pole
fishing for Carp, Tench, Roach, Rudd and Perch.

Match angler or pleasure fisherman, our waters have something to offer.

fish caught on all waters controlled by Chippenham Angling Club are to be returned to the water. NO TAKING OF FISH IS PERMITTED.

Evening Match 4
The 4th match and still a good turn out with 28 people fishing. Fishing was slow for most of the anglers but most stayed the distance. 1st on the day went to J dugdale with 11lb 3oz from in form peg 65. John has caught small chub for most of his weight on the waggler fishing maggot. 2nd went to K Rowls with 9lb 13oz. Kevin has fish a pole with hemp and caster to catch manly roach. 3rd was D williamson with 9lb of chub and roach. Danny fished peg 33 using a waggler and maggot aproach.
